Ghana commissions new teaching hospital for 中医养生 premier university
ACCRA, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- The government of Ghana has commissioned an ultra-modern 650-bed medical center 毒品对身体的危害 for the country's premier university, University of Ghana, Legon.
President John Dramani Mahama, while opening the center on Wednesday, said completion of the 217 million-U.S.-dollars facility, which was just the first phase of the proposed new teaching hospital for the medical school, would reduce the cases of Ghanaians traveling abroad to seek 两性生活知识 medical care as well as making Ghana a center of medical tourism.
"It is a major milestone in the country's quest to improve quality of healthcare available to Ghanaians. The completion is a dream come true. Residents within the catchment area of the university and even beyond Ghana will have access to a first class medical facility," Mahama said.
The 甲状腺疾病症状 president added that the center would form part of the Teaching Hospital of the University of Ghana.
"This will create a symbiotic 什么是高位截瘫 relationship between the hospital/ university and the center; this will make the University of Ghana Medical Center one of the best centers of excellence on the African continent. The center is equipped with the most modern up-to-date medical gadgets capable of simulating disease conditions to enable our professionals to have a comprehensive hands-on 红粉美女图片 training experience on how to manage such conditions," the president said.
The project, financed by a loan from the Israeli government, sits on a 400-acre land behind the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR). It will house all health institutions of the University of Ghana currently located at the country's premiere Teaching Hospital 前胸后背长痘痘怎么办 at Korle-Bu in Accra.
Among the specialized services to be delivered by the hospital are Gastroenterology, Trauma and Orthopedics, Urology, Othumology, Ear-Nose-Throat, Cardiology, Dermatology, Neurology and Radiology and Accident and Emergency services.
Present at the commissioning was the Israeli Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana, Ami Mehl.

"As a university, we owe it to ourselves, the government and the good people of Ghana to ensure that adequate measures are put in place to ensure an efficient management of the hospital so it continues to maintain its world class status. The second phase of the project, which will commence after the hospital begins operations, will include the addition of 400 beds, a modern community morgue, heart, cancer and rehabilitation centers, as well as a dialysis unit.
